Paul Tauger joined AddyHart P.C. in 2021 with extensive experience litigating a range of cases before US district courts in more than a dozen states, before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the USPTO, and in US Courts of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit and Eleventh Circuits.

As a commercial litigator, Tauger has represented small, medium, and large businesses in a variety of disputes in bench and jury trials as well as in arbitrations, including in trademark, trade dress, copyright, and patent cases; breach-of-contract cases; fraud and misappropriation of trade secrets cases; licensing disputes, and breach of fiduciary duty cases. He has represented both domestic US and international clients in Europe, Korea, and the People’s Republic of China, and has appeared pro hace vice in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Tauger has received numerous professional distinctions, including being named one of the “Top Bay Area Lawyers” for intellectual property litigation by Bay Area Lawyer Magazine (Sept./Oct. 2005). He has received the highest rating for legal ability and ethics in Martindale-Hubbell. A frequent speaker with prominent industry associations, he has keynoted for the American Intellectual Property Lawyers Association (AIPLA); and has presented at the Game Developers Conference and the Gamer Technology Conference.
