AddyHart is pleased to welcome Brandon R. Theiss, J.D., PE, as a partner with the firm.
Brandon expands AddyHart’s capabilities in post-grant proceedings, portfolio strategy and licensing, patent prosecution, and intellectual property monetization. He joins AddyHart after serving as a Shareholder at Volpe Koenig, where he built and led the firm’s post-grant proceedings practice.
Brandon brings a practical technical foundation to his legal work, including more than a decade of engineering experience before entering the legal profession. Brandon is particularly recognized for developing and leading sophisticated post-grant strategies that align both patent prosecution and litigation objectives.
“Brandon’s combination of technical knowledge, PTAB experience, and strategic patent counseling makes him an outstanding addition to our team,” said Meredith Addy. “His practice strengthens our ability to help clients maximize the value of their intellectual property, and we are pleased to welcome him.”
His addition further strengthens AddyHart’s patent capabilities and expands the firm’s ability to assist clients with prosecution, post-grant proceedings, licensing, portfolio strategy, and enforcement matters.
Brandon is also the author of Divergent Patent Law, where he writes about patent law, patent prosecution, and international IP strategy.
